“ We asked the locals where to eat in Evreux, France & they highly recommended Le Maharajah - I had the most delicious Curry d’aubergine - one of the best curries I’ve ever eaten, I also had the Oignons Bhajia - they were light & delicate & the accompanying sauces were delightful- I highly recommend this as a fantastic vegan - friendly restaurant @veganonthegc ”

“ We had lunch today. It was our second time. We eat Indian/Pakistani food everywhere we go. Rouen, Clermont, Beauvais, Gisors and Evreux. We've eaten at both the other Indian restaurants in Evreux as well. We went to England last month to eat only Indian food. So... we love dynamic intense flavors with clear, clean tastes and don't shy away from spices and heat. Going away, today's lunch was the best food of this kind we have eaten in France and that includes at least 100 meals. We had the mixed tandoor grill, plain naan, rice and palak paneer. The mixed grill included salmon, lamb, chicken and seekh kabob. We live 45 minutes away and don't enjoy the drive, but love the food. The 1/2 bottle of Muscadet was delicious. Okay, coffee isn't as good as food. One thing that would make the meal better is if it arrived very hot. It was clearly all freshly cooked, but some waited for other parts of the meal. All in all, an absolutely delicious Indian meal here in France, where almost no one wants to serve such intense flavors. Thank you. We will be back again and again. We had lunch here today. It was our second time. We eat Indian/Pakistani food everywhere we go: in Rouen, Clermont-Ferrand, Beauvais, Gisors, and Évreux. We've also tried the other two Indian restaurants in Évreux. Last month, we went to England just to eat Indian food. In short, we love bold, intense flavors, and we're not afraid of spices and heat. In conclusion, today's lunch was the best meal of its kind we've had in France, and we've eaten at least a hundred! We had the mixed tandoori, plain naan, rice, and palak paneer. The mixed tandoor included salmon, lamb, chicken, and seekh kebabs. We live 45 minutes away, so the drive is a bit long, but the food is definitely worth it. The half-bottle of Muscadet was delicious. The coffee, however, wasn't as good as the meal. One small improvement: the meal would have been even better if it had been served piping hot. Everything was clearly freshly prepared, but some people had to wait for the rest of the meal. In short, a delicious Indian meal here in France, where restaurants offering such bold flavors are rare. Thank you. We will definitely be back. ”

“ Very good food. Warm welcome. We paid a little more than expected, but perhaps we didn't realize that if you order the naans instead of rice, you pay the full price. We understood it was one or the other. In any case, it was very good. ”

- Phœnix R -

“ First time here and a very pleasant surprise! The food was delicious. For a very reasonable price (starter, main course, dessert, coffee, tea) it came to €68 for two. We'll definitely be back! ”
